Our 2022 Riesling is here, finally! One of my favourite wines I’ve made under the Scout label. This wine is based on my German experiences with Riesling, hand picked, gently pressed before a long and cold slow fermentantion (11 months!).

The fruit for our 2022 Riesling is from a super steep north facing slope on the edge of a glacial terrace, in the Pisa subregion of Central Otago. A mixture of Greywacke and Schist glacial rock with a thin covering of wind blown loess, the grapes are from an organic certified vineyard.

The wine is unfined (vegan friendly) and minimally handled.
