2018 Nelson Pinot Gris
Organically grown on free draining, alluvial soils. This Nelson Pinot Gris was handpicked early, fermented in stainless steel and oak. The wine also had a small amount of skin fermentation to build beautiful texture and drive. This wine is fermented until 2grams of residual sugar remained.
2018 Pinot x pinot
Pinot Noir x Pinot Gris. Two varieties not often blended together, but have resulted in a bright, light, crunchy delicious red wine.
75% Pinot Noir, grown in the Southern Valleys and 25% Pinot Gris from Nelson. 100% whole bunch fermentation, basket pressed and aged in old French barriques. We took inspiration from Beaujolais for this wine.
Serve slightly chilled
2018 Adelaide hills chardonnay
A modern style of Australian Chardonnay, taken form two different sites in the Adelaide Hills, this wine has great power, finesse and concentration.
Whole bunch pressed, fermented in French barriques, with a small portion fermented on skins for seven days.
“This has a crackle of quality. It’s well fruited, is bursting with spice, has flint tucked into its shirt and fig slung around its neck. Acidity tears through the wine like a kid at a new bike. Flavour chases right on after it. 95 points.”
